Since my time at DePaul, I have been able to gain writing experience in the public relations and advertising realm as well as insight into the marketing field. I am also developing my design skills through professional experience. In this portfolio, I showcase some of my media and marketing materials.

about.

about.

When I entered DePaul in 2018 as a Political Science major, I was sure I would be pursuing a career in government affairs. I had been involved in Model United Nations, had a passion for learning about civil rights law and felt called to work towards creating a more inclusive environment, specifically for undocumented immigrants. This led me to take a position through DePaul in the Achieving Immigrant Rights and Equality (AIRE) program which partnered with a local neighborhood house. Here I lead DePaul students through weekly service and reflection with immigrants in our community providing English language tutoring and citizenship test prep and connecting them to appropriate Chicago resources as needed.

I love the work I do and the people I collaborate with in AIRE but I found the key aspect that was missing was creativity. Storytelling and creating innovative approaches to problems is my passion. This is what drew me to public relations and marketing.

I am looking for a career that will give me the opportunity to practice my proclivity for visual communication, creativity, and writing. The work I currently do in social media and marketing with The Sunshine Method has allowed me to develop my research and content creation skills to share the stories of wonderful people who provide educational and emotional support to children in need. My goal is to join a company whose values align with my own and whose work creates a meaningful impact on those they serve.
